Secret garden

On a day of clear blue skies and smoking hot temperatures it is barely possible to find a decent photoshoot spot without people interfering while pictures of you are being taken. In order to avoid all those curious glances, I have yet again decided to take advantage of our beautiful garden which gets particularly drenched in sunshine throughout the summer months. Even my dad said I'd be crazy to leave it in favour of some dark and crowded park alleys...
The polka-dot blouse I'm wearing for this post is another cute gift from WholeSale-Dress (the other one seen here). Actually, it works super well within so many outfits that I couldn't really decide which one should be shared on here! More coming in the near future...

Berry here, berry there... berries everywhere!

Hello, my name is Aga and I've been addicted to all kind of berries for last several months... But how can I possibly be blamed for being so fond of these sweet and juicy nibbles?! Not only are they packed with some pretty divine flavours, but also get easily incorporated in just about every meal, as proven by the fantastic dinner recipe below...

Berries1

Very Berry Pancake Ribbons

1 cup flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons oil
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1tsp. vanilla extract

To serve:
*Icing sugar
*Softly whipped cream or plain yogurt of your choice
*Fresh Berries, and I mean lots of them...

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all the ingredients until smooth. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium heat. Pour the batter onto the pan using just enough to cover the whole surface with a thin film. Cook for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is golden, then loosen with a spatula and turn to cook the other side. Once you've used all of the batter, roll your crepes in a cylinder and cut into ribbons of desired width. Divide between plates. Serve with spoonfuls of cream (or yogurt), berries and some icing sugar sprinkled on top.

Domestic Goddess In The Making

Have you ever experienced that peculiar urge to become a cross between Martha Stewart and Anthea Turner? Well, I gave in to it months ago.. Ever since my endless job search quest began, I have voluntarily taken over my mom's responsibility of keeping our house as clean and homely as possible. The thing is that after a year of being stuck in the same tedious routine I'm practically dying to take a short break from all the housework and some very occasional interviews! How wonderful it would be to finally stuff this basket with a suntan lotion and beach towel instead of my regular buys from the local grocer's...

Gifted

Last week saw me getting praised with number of completely unexpected gifts. First there was the new bag from my mom, then one of our neighbours turned up at my house with a tiny kitten, saying we'd surely know better how to take care of it (Yes, I am now a mother of three!)... And FINALLY, a very cute FedEx guy brought me a parcel from WholeSale-Dress with two amazing chiffon tops! As you can imagine, I've already gone head over heels for both of the pieces and just couldn't wait to showcase at least one in today's post.  Here it is then! Owing to the ethereal fabrics and photogenic print, this blouse is bound to be loved...
